Well the weatherman mentioned last night that the high today would be 80 degrees.  I was excited and had a hard time falling asleep last night as today was my day off and I looked forward to riding.

I woke to a beautiful sunny morning and promptly rolled over and went back to sleep.  At a more seemely hour, about 11AM, I did get up.  Played around here a little although most everyone I know in the area works today.  A quick shower and some careful selection of clothing and I was out of here.

Had a wonderful ride.  I can't say I really went anywhere.  I just rode and turned as it suit me.  I love this time of year when the leaves are almost off the trees.  Many places that were full of shade and darkness earlier in the year produced beautiful views.  I didn't ride long or hard.  I stopped for food and some xmas shopping.  I didn't find what i was looking for though.

The good news is that the weather should be just as nice tomorrow.  I guess I will have to go do some more 'shopping'.

Well, it is getting close to Christmas and end of the year and alot of people are burning up vacation they may lose where I work.  Has been the perfect chance to make some much needed money.

I have to say I am tired of it.  I have been working my ass off!!  The money will be nice the next couple of paydays, but I don't think I made good choices.  The 10 minute ride to work is not much to compare to all the riding I am hearing about from friends.  The weather has been nice and the only day off I had in a while was Turkeyday.

I have another 3 weeks of OT scheduled and I am sure there is more that will be available.  I am going to stick with it I think.  Paying off credit cards and maybe a little extra for some winter projects.  I am trying to focus on other people suffering their asses off while I am riding and enjoying myself come spring or maybe sooner.

I spent the last week working waaaay too hard and long.  My weekend is here and it is the last one that I have agreed to work OT in a while.  I slep 12 hours after collapsing in bed last evening.  For once there isn't frost on the windows this early and it is supposed to get to 66 today.  Can anyone guess what I am doing?

That is right.  I am riding.  I plan to head east from Charlotte on some backroads and will likely stop around Fayettville, Fort Bragg actually.

I have a cellphone that allows me to browse anywhere.  So, if you live in the area or between Charlotte and Fayetteville, feel free to message me.  Would love to meet or make BW friends anywhere along the route.  Even though I only plan a day trip, I have 3 days off if needed to party.  If I don't answer, just means I found fun and haven't wasted time on the internet.

I hope that the rest of my friend here are having fun or at least surviving work.  Special hello to all the Vets.

It is weekend time for me!!  Weekends are not always about Saturday and Sunday.  Finished my last day of work.  Came home and ate.  Promptly fell asleep for a full 10 hours. 

I am awake now and shaking the last bits of sleep off me and fortifying my body with some food and caffeine.  Its 57 deg with a high of 70 expected.  Definately ride time.  I need to find some chaps.  Something I never bothered with in Florida, but now that I am in NC it has become apparent that I will need some.

Even though I have been working with computers since they and myself were young, I have never really been one to shop on the internet.  I am, however, using the internet to find a few shops in the area.  well really in neighboring areas as I want to combine the search with riding. 

So, if anyone can suggest anyplace in the NC area for leathers, let me know.  Having never owned chaps before, I want to do some searching and try on a few(maybe hundred hehe..).  I can afford to bundle up for a while.  Its just easier to remove chaps if you stop somewhere for a while than it is to remove longjohns and other layers that might go under jeans.

So wish me luck.  Offer a suggestion.  Whatever suits your style.  Until then, I will be the guy on the NC roads that looks like the StayPuff Marshmallow Man riding a motorcycle.

Sorry to rub it in for those of you in the northern states, but riding weather is far from over.  In fact, riding to work the past two days was the first time I wore leather during the day. 

 Now the work week for me is over and I have three days to ride.  It rained most of last week and I have been really jonezin.  So if you see me online tomorrow after 10AM or so, kick my ass for wasting daylight.

I have no plans or even a direction planned for tomorrow past driving out my driveway.  So, if any of the crew here in NC is off during the week, let me know.  Would love to meet any and all, men, women, farm animals, etc...  I am not picky.

I am packing the camera and will upload pics if I go anywhere intersting.  Ya'' take care and I will see ya on the roads.
