6/10/07 We took a nice evening ride. Same as always, People wave, listening to the pipes and cruising when we heard a loud noise. A 30 y/o man in a pickup decided we were in his way and tried to run us over. He almost hit us in the rear and flew past us and hit the breaks. I turned to the right real hard and stopped by his window. I ask him, ARE YOU TRYING TO FU*KIN KILL US ? He replied , SO WHAT IF I AM, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT ? We said call the law NOW ! He replied, WELL I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO KILL YOU THEN. We took the hell of fast and decided to go to the store right down the road and call the law. Instantly this man blast by us almost hitting my left foot, we swerve to the right hard and miss him. We sped up to get his tag number. My girlfriend says , I GOT IT so I slowed down and then in an instant he locked up his breaks and tried to make us hit him. I hit the breaks hard and started to the right to go around him. We were right at the citgo drive way so I decided to turn in and call the law. We really thought we would be safe there. He had stopped when I skid by him and when he saw us go by him he hit the gas and turned into us. It was to late and I knew I was going to hit his right door so I just hit the breaks and held on. We hit going about 20mph. I hit the right door with my left shoulder and bounced off. The bike fell on Tammy’s leg and trapped her. I looked up and the guy looked straight at me and said, FU*K YOU NOW MOTHER FU*KER . He backed up and I tried to get Tammy out but couldn’t . My Clavicle was broke and I couldn’t breath. A man ran up and grabbed the bike and she got out and the crazed truck driver backed up and tried to run over the bike again and left across the citgo almost hitting two people. I fell to the grass in pain. I still couldn’t breath. The man behind us that seen everything went after the guy. They found him with a shredded tire about three miles down the road. They forced him to come back. When the State trouper showed up the man ran to him screaming it was us and shortly after the police arrested him. I was rushed to the hospital . I had surgery on my clavicle and now I am the proud owner of a clavicle plate and a nice scar and 25 bruises. Tammy used me for a cushion so she made it ok. A few bruises.

The idiot driving the truck was charged with 1. RECKLESS DRIVING - PROP DAM/SERIOUS PERSONAL 316.192.3abc1 . 2. DUI / PROPERTY DAMAGE / SERIOUS INJUR . 316.193.3abc1. 3. CRASH-LEAVING SCENE-SERIOUS INJ . 316.027.1A .

THANK GOD we had full coverage. His insurance was more than happy to settle. Our brand new Street Glide received $8,767.49 in damages. She will be ready in one more month.

One has to question their self after an experience like this, if they will ever ride again ? I’ve rode bikes all my life. I love bike riding. We have wonderful friends. Can’t say it will be easy, but I will be back as soon as PRECIOUS is out of the Harley shop. To all our biker friends that prayed for us. THANK YOU.

You here of stories like this but you think , It Will Never Happen To Me. Well it did. I would love to talk to the guy that almost killed us and see just what was His motive for trying to take our life. At any rate, PLEASE take it from me. No matter what the issue is, no matter who is right or wrong. The cager is bigger and will kill you quick. LET IT GO ! Let the fool have the road and arrive safe and alive to ride another day.

It wasn’t until I attended a bike rally that I realized the phenomenon of the LOUD PIPE !

There seems to be a problem with some of my fellow BROS in understanding the true meaning of LOUD PIPES so im going to help those of you that DON"Y KNOW.

LOUD PIPES

1. Does not mean MORE POWER !

2. Only impresses YOUR EGO !

3. Is NOT a mating call for women bikers !

4. IS ONLY a mating call for other dumb ass bikers to riv their bikes up!

5. DOES NOT make your already exaggerated mail member grow one inch!

6. DOES NOT turn on biker chicks!

7. IS NOT a good expression of your anger because you didn’t get laid at the rally and all you got was drunk and broke at 2:30 in the morning.

8. Is NOT a sign of intelligence!

9. Is NOT the way you wake up all your Bros up in the morning because you woke up early and are lonely and have no one to drink breakfast with.

10. Does NOT raise your IQ !

11. Pisses every other freakin biker in the bike rally off and everyone there wants to kick YOUR ass.

12. DON"T save lives. It makes cagers want to run your dumb ass off the road so they don’t have to listen to the sh*t.

So to my fellow BRO’S ! Catch the hint. Nothing is achieved with LOUD PIPES other than giving the elusion only to you that those LOUD freakin pipes you have some how makes you a BIGGER BADDER BIKER.
