Got back from Sturgis - it was fabulous btw!!! - looked at my back tire and was SHOCKED to see that there was not a drop of tread left on it! I thought to myself, "What the @#%&@...I just put a new tire on my bike in May!!!!" Then I added up the miles I've ridden since May - 10,000 miles in the past four months!!! I couldn't believe it - but then I felt better about putting ANOTHER new tire on my bike!!!
I've noticed that the daylight is dwindling away about 7:30-8:00 these days and am already getting depressed about winter coming...it feel like summer just got here!!!! What the heck!?
Once my daughter graduates high school, I am heading for some southern state where its warmer and I can ride my bike more months of the year!!!

What a fabulous ten days on my motorcycle!!!! Myrtle was a blast and the weather was great - cept for Thursday - but the trips to and from myrtle were every bit as wonderful as the week at the beach - maybe even better!!! Nothing like cruising through God's country with the wind in your hair!
Went the scenic route through Tennessee - fabulous, aside from having to wear a helmet! Went through Land Between the Lakes and the Smokey Mountains - took three days to get there - FABULOUS!!!
Had a blast in Myrtle - checked out all the vendors - spent way too much money - stopped at the all the hot spots - drank way too much beer - danced, socialized, met up with a friend from the beach and some other friends from around here - too much fun!!!!
Went through Kentucky on the way back - to avoid the helmets! Beautiful country there too - nearly got killed coming through the mountains on the interstate, though! Too bad we have to share the roads with stupid people!!! Rode 12 hours on Friday - not a cloud in the sky - two lane highways most of the way - what a tremendous day!!! Wish I could figure out a way to make a living at riding my bike! Not a drop of rain the whole way home - no problems - nothing but blessings!!!
It was good to get home and see my kids and my darling little bulldog...not so good to be back to work today! :( I'm ready to go again!!!!
If you haven't been to bike week in myrtle - you MUST go!!!! It's the best in my opinion - because it's so spread out there that you can actually RIDE YOUR BIKE!!! Gotta run - be blessed!!! Jesus Freak
