Another beautiful weekend in Georgia..never thought I'd be praying for fullout rain...but we sure do need it. But, it's great for riding. And I'm so sorry for all of you who have had to put your bikes away for the winter...ya'll need to move SOUTH..hehehe. We never stop riding! Friday night was spent with DC's cousin and his gf - they played guitars and serenaded us and we had great fun! Always love hearing my DC play that guitar...I tell him all the time, "You ain't the first guitar player I've ever dated, but you are the BEST! I spent Saturday morning participating in the Heart Walk at Piedmont Park downtown. Was a gorgeous day and I walked a 5K in 1h 4m. After that DC and I hopped on the bike and went out for some Mexican food and a blue margarita! YUM. Went back home and just kicked back for the rest of the night. Sunday was reserved for riding! Our new friends Hank and Suzanne and Aunt Tweety came over and off we went, heading out to the west side of the state to meet up with Big Willie. He took us on some great twisty country roads and I got to see the big Georgia power plant up close and personal lol. But, we also went to a park where they had a covered bridge and we spent a little time there. Then some people on regular horses rode up and we enjoyed talking to them and admiring their steeds. Off we went to end up at Double Vision cuz we were hungry and thirsty and the guys had a hankering for wings (as usual) lmfao. We rode back home in dusk but it was an awesome ride going to nowhere really...just enjoying the countryside and looking at the fall colors. Doesn't get better than that!
