I have been remiss in keeping up with posts, comments, etc., due to my very hectic work schedule at the moment. Boy, I tell you, all work and too little play makes Lanie a cranky girl! However, my good friends have seen to it that I should take some time for some fun. I just had a birthday and my buds came over to celebrate with me. Course Karen, DC, and I started the party early (about 1pm) and were well trashed by 3pm, and I was dancing in the living room from about 2 to 7 when the party showed up lol. Karen and Megamamma took care of the food, preparations, etc., all I had to do was enjoy myself...and I DID. Mamma made her world famous MamaMojo - guaranteed to kick your ass in no time and since I was already well on my way, took about a nanosecond for me lmfao. Was great seeing everyone and we had an awesome time. I will be posting some pics, just haven't loaded them up yet, but I will soon, I promise. I had lots of well wishes and plenty of hugs (LOVE the hugs and smoochies) and thank you, my dear friends, for making my birthday memorable. I am blessed to have such wonderful friends as you, and you know who you are. To bring this to a little more "serious" level, one thing I've learned over the years, life is not what "happens", life is what you make it, and what makes it worthwhile and wonderful, are the people who enrich your life along the way, just by being there. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I consider my friends to be "family" and I appreciate and love each and every one of them. You give me so much - you have no idea how much I appreciate and care about you. Hugs and Smoochies!! Lanie
