I am a 47 year old mother of two. My son is 28 and lives in Los Angeles, CA with his beautiful wife. My daughter is 15 and lives with me. We have a cat named Gizmo, a fish named Berry and a sweet little chihuahua named Chico. I'm a nurse on a very busy sub-acute rehab/ skilled nursing unit. I've been practicing nursing for 23 years. I lost the love of my life Roger, in a motorcycle accident. He was on his way to work on his Honda Shadow Aero when he was struck by an SUV driven by a 17 year old kid on his way to school. It was just after 7AM September 19, 2006. My best friend, lover, fiance, riding coach and life partner was ripped from me in an instant. I will never get over it, I will never forget him, I will never accept that he is gone and I will never be the same person I was when I had him in my life. He was my "Prince Charming".
UPDATE: Suppose its past time to update my profile. In July of 2007, 10 months after Roger's death, Just when I was wondering if I was ever going to feel anything but pain again, I went on a group ride and I met my Knight in Shining Armor. He had recently lost his wife and although niether of us was ready to date, we fell in love quickly as if it was meant to be. On the night we met we discovered that our lost loves were waked at the same funeral home. His name is Eugene which was Roger's middle name. My middle name is the same as His late wife Robin Sue. We felt instantly that there was some higher power at work. In the year that has passed since we met, we got engaged and bought a beautiful home and moved our families in together in March. It truly is a fairy tale. I never thought I could love again but Roger sent this wonderful man to me and I love him more than I ever thought possible. Thanks Roger and Robin! You two are with us always!

My favorite movies are either comedies, animated or suspense. I like to laugh so much my cheeks hurt or be held in such suspense I'm on the edge of my seat. Some of my favorite movies are Misery (I could have played the roll of Annie to a T), Rainman, The Birdcage, Toystory, A Bug's Life, When a Stranger Calls, Basic Instinct and of course Scarface.

I like all kinds of music... pop, classical, R&B, jazz and rock. Not a big fan of country or rap. I love live music, either local bands or concerts. My all time favorite band is Jethro Tull... Gotta love the flute! No one can play the flute like Ian! I like The Cowboy Junkies, Katie Melua and Keiko Matsui to name a few. I just enjoy music period!

Ok...I have to admit to watching American Idol and Dancing With the Stars. Can't explain that. I don't watch a lot of TV but I usually have it on for company. I love to watch documentaries. I watch The Sopranos, Big Love and Deadwood on HBO. I don't have any other shows I watch regularly but I like sitcoms and news magazines. My favorite things to watch on tv are real crime or medical shows such as Forensic Files, America's Most Wanted, Autopsy and Medical Detectives. When it's baseball season I'm glued to NESN to watch my boys.
