I am the Founder of Warriors' Watch Riders, a troop-support and military family support group in SouthEast PA, New Jersey and Delaware. I no no longer support the Patriot Guard Riders in PA because of the dishonorable, self-aggrandizing State Captain in Pennsylvania, "Ripley," and equally dishonorable Regional "Hawk" and national "Dogface" captains. (There are many other states where the leadership continues to lead honorably, Delaware for just one example, and I support them and their misison with my whole heart.)
I am the PA Coordinator for the Gathering of Eagles, the assistant National Director of the Society of the 3rd Infantry Division's Marne Riders MC, a charter member of the American Cold War Veterans Associaiotn, and a member of the Friends of the Forgotten, POW/MIA awareness group.
I ride all year long, everywhere I go. My scoot is my primary means of transportation. Work, gym, grocery shopping. My motto: "If it don't fit in your saddle bags, you don't need it."
I am also a recreational body builder - used to hold a couple of Personal Trainer certifications. Been pumping iron (off and on - mostly on) for about 26 or 27 years.
I am a professional writer (that means I actually get paid for it) and speaker, and an activist for POW/MIA and other pro-military, pro-patriotic causes.
I love my country (and fear my government), and I love women.
Hate to see you go, babe, but LOVE to watch you leave.
On September 14, 2006, Sgt Jennifer Hartman, 21, of New Ringgold, Pa.; assigned to the 4th Support Battalion, 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; was killed by the enemy in Iraq when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated in the vicinity of a West Baghdad Substation where she was located.
From everything I have learned since riding for her at her funeral, she was an amazing girl. Her family and friends still grieve for her loss, I grieve that I can never know her, that I will never meet her, and that I DID NOT KNOW such an incredible girl, soldier, hero, until it was too late.
At her graveside at the cemetary, the priest quoted something that Jennifer wrote to a freind not long before her death. This quote from a 21 year old girl sums up life better than I, with my 52 years of experience, ever could. This quote has become my sig line, and I try to live by it. I call it "The Ride." Jennefer said,
"It's not about what happened in the past. It's not about what might happen in the future. It's about The Ride, for Christ's sake."
This quote is also the basis for the Flash Tribute to Sgt Jennifer Hartman that I put up. You can view that tribute by clicking here:

My dear friends, I am pulling out saturday morning for Texas. I will spend that time coming up with my Soldier, my son. He is deploying May 15 one month from today. I am working on organizing bikers to adopt the 2-7 Cavalry which is his unit. They are the original Custers last stand and Ghostwalkers. Please email me if you are interested in helping. Hugs and respect to all Lady J gardenjadelove@yahoo.com
