I bought the 2003 Anniversary addition Fatboy new in Ames Iowa. It was a very plan bike. I have been adding chrome and parts to it every year. Its about the way I want it. But I say that every year. LOL I would still like to put 6-speed gearbox with jockey shift on it. But I will be adding a detachable windshield and bigger bags first. It is a rider not a show bike and I have had it in the rain many times. The storm in K.C. told me this bike is a keeper! 4 inches of rain in one hour and I'm running down 71 south at 50 MPH to outrun the storm. The bike tracked great!!!

I haven’t made any big modifications to the Fatboy. I have changed the bars to 14 inch chubs, changed the cables to steel braided ones, Changed the grips, Changed out the floorboard pans and floorboards, modified and installed the bag (sissy) bar, Added cruse bars and changed the passenger’s pegs to match. Added a small set of throw-over bags, Oh and new pipes but everyone does the pipes. I had help with some of the work from a friend that has a local Des Moines Iowa shop called House of Horsepower. Great shop check them out when you can. I would still like to put 6-speed gearbox with jockey shift on it. But I will be adding a detachable windshield and bigger bags first then we will see.

I don't believe in putting anyone down or trying to change them. Everyone has the right to live their life their way.

I am outside anytime I can be. I camp, fish, hunt, hike, boat, and ride. I work full time and run my on business so time has been limited this year. Next year I hope to have mort time to travel on the bike. (2009)

I moved to Lake of the Ozarks Missouri in 2003. I ride the bike almost every day here at the lake. I travel to Kansas City, Des Moines when I can. I also been known to just jump on the bike and take off.

My father passed away in 2003 so in 2005 I moved my mother into the upper part of my house. What a change that made including adding 350 more square feet to the house! The good part is she still is able to take care of herself and can watch the house when I’m gone.

I am a disabled vet (some broken bones) and I will make all the rides I can for our vets.

I have three kids all living their own lives out of state and two of them ride. I’m divorced after 17 and I raised my daughter by myself with very little help from the ex.

I have ridden with all types of people. Some were patch members and some others ride metric bikes. I don’t care what you ride, who you ride for or with. When you ride with me we all ride with respect of each rider in the group. But I have told a newbie to shut up and listen to the people that have more miles. Hell I still lessen to any old road dog that wants to try and teach me something. LOL

So like I have said many times before. Let’s stop all the talking and just shut the hell up and ride! If you want to know some more just ask.
