| VIEWING 1 - 4 OUT OF 4 TOTAL

Red River Gorge
DATE: 22 Sep 2008, 8:08 am / MOOD: Happy

Just got back from a much needed ride out of town. Even if it was only for the day. It turned out the be the best ride we'd been on.

Planning for the trip started about 4 weeks ago. It was a conversation between My "Queen Bee" and her sister. It was only to be 2 bikes for the day but in conversation they'd agreed to talk to a couple other people who might like to join in. Well... When we met up for a morning pre-meal there were allot more bikes than a "couple". When all was said and done and we were heading northwest there were 15 bikes and 23 of us total. At one point during the ride there were more than 30 of us. There was another group from our area that several of the other bikers recognized. That group hooked up with us for few miles. Talk about a cool "rumble" of motors. It was really awesome! The beauty of the gorge just added to the effect. It was great chance to get out and meet new friends. Good memories were made by all... The Red River Gorge is an excellent ride for anyone!

 Our prayers are with Dakota!

Science Hill, KY Bike Night
DATE: 15 Jul 2008, 8:36 pm / MOOD: Happy

Went out to the bike night held every second Saturday of each month. It was actually pretty good this time. there were allot of custom bikes and even a couple custom trikes. I should of took some picks to share but didn't think of it at the moment. The whole event could use more publicity though. I wish some groups like HOG would come in for a visit. Or the Buell race team, or maybe they could host special themes ie, metric night, Harley night or custom bobs. Maybe a biker babe contest... Anything to liven it up a little more. I'll have to start taking pictures.

Hampton Roads Trip
DATE: 23 Jun 2008, 6:34 am / MOOD: Tired

Just got in from Hampton Roads today. WEW! What a trip. We cruised places that I'd never been during the whole time I lived there. The area is still as hectic as ever. There was traffic everywhere but we managed to cruise around it. Cape Hatteras Light was the highlight of the cruising but the Colonial Parkway was pretty nice too. Definitely got the "Ole Lady" (My Queen Bee) talked into the Ultra Classic now. Needless to say after 500 plus miles of constant riding on the Fatboy, her ass was a little sore.

Picks are posted.

Hampton Roads
DATE: 17 Jun 2008, 7:18 am / MOOD: Happy

Yo everyone! I'm here in Hampton Roads for the week. No Rallies or nothing. Just visiting the bestest friends I ever had and taking in what used to be my home stomping grounds. It's great but the major interstates suck. There's potholes out here that I can fit my Fatboy in.

Will be heading to the Outerbanks (NC) Thursday. It'll be a big 250+ mile loop from Va Beach to Nags head and back on 158 via state route 64.

It's great to see the Military working as hard as ever. Wish I was back there!

We'll be taking pics along the route!

Later... "Ya'll"
