Just got back from a much needed ride out of town. Even if it was only for the day. It turned out the be the best ride we'd been on. Planning for the trip started about 4 weeks ago. It was a conversation between My "Queen Bee" and her sister. It was only to be 2 bikes for the day but in conversation they'd agreed to talk to a couple other people who might like to join in. Well... When we met up for a morning pre-meal there were allot more bikes than a "couple". When all was said and done and we were heading northwest there were 15 bikes and 23 of us total. At one point during the ride there were more than 30 of us. There was another group from our area that several of the other bikers recognized. That group hooked up with us for few miles. Talk about a cool "rumble" of motors. It was really awesome! The beauty of the gorge just added to the effect. It was great chance to get out and meet new friends. Good memories were made by all... The Red River Gorge is an excellent ride for anyone! Our prayers are with Dakota!
