A Thanks Giving For Tommorrow

God I know it is easy to look over my shoulder at yesterday and give you thanks for all the things that came my way
but today I want to stop and look ahead insted of behind I want to thank you for all the things to come!
I want to thank you for all the new friends I will meet this year and all the ones whose closeness will deepen tomorrow.
I want to thank you for all the abundance and Grace you will bestow on me and the way you will strengthen me when I fear that I won't have enough or it seems I don't have the strength to endure.
I want to thank you for all the safe miles I will ride and the adventures I will find.
I want to thank you for all the abundance in my life that I can share abundantly so all will know you alive in me.
I want to thank you for all the work that I will do that will keep me in shelter and food.
I want to thank you for all the blessings I will catch and the one's I may miss in the showering of your gaze upon my days.
I give you Thanks for tomorrow more than yesterday because I know even before I make one pleaful plea you have already heard me.
I give you Thanks for the strength of my faith and a mustard seed that grows day by day for all the wisdom and wonder you bring my way.

I can look back and give you thanks but it is the Thanks for all the tomorrows yet to come and the sum of all my days that you will touch me in your mysterious Loving ways that gives me the truest reason for praise for what has come to pass is nothing compared to the Love that last and endures and calls me to your awaiting arms.
I give you Thanks for Yesterday because it is the shield against any doubt that you have been with me and will be with me all my days and for the pillar of yesterday, the north star of my night, I give you thanks for Yesterday because it maintains my sight.

Today I give you Thanks because tomorrow you are making a day greater then any I could imagine or ask for. I give you Thanks for tomorrow because it is an unopened gift that holds the best surprise. I thank you for tomorrow because I know you will never avert your eyes or withhold your loving Grace. I thank you for tomorrow because you know what I am becoming more than I know myself.

I Thank you God- and my Brothers and Sisters who watch over me and all my relations in this life and the next.
