Title: Purple Fairy Dust

Blog Entry: Hey folks how are ya all doing? Right now over this gray and dismal day I'm throwing y'all some purple fairy dust and along with the clear. After all every day needs some sparkle.     This weekend I thought of going to Daytona. I didn't go for the high humitidy and let's face the rain. Here on the island it was sunny and warm with light breezes. I left about 11:30, and headed towards Jacksonvill on 17, where I picked up 9A. I just love the view of the Dam's point bridge from a distance. The closer one gets the prettier the bridge appears. It really is a work of art. From 9A I took JTB so that I could pick up A1A, yea I could have take A1A the whole way but I didn't feel like waiting for the ferry.    I got into Ponte Vedra and dam if it didn't rain. I hide under a bank's drive through lane until the heavey rain stopped then continued down A1A. Throughout the whole ride it was hit and miss showers, so I stopped in St. Augustine. I parked and walked straight up Kings street to the winery and took a tour. I found that now is the perfect time to visit some of the other winerys as they are harvesting their fruits and making the wine now. They have a vinyard on the panhandle and one near Orlando. I hope to maybe visit next weekend. From the Tour I tasted a few wines, acted silly and got the class clown award what else is new.    After the winery I walked the old town and did some shopping. There I was able to buy some purple fairy dust. Me I love fairy dust! I think every gal no matter the age should sparkle, besides what's a day with out some glitter? and purple well that's one of my favorites too. Purple is the color of royality and we all know I'm a royal something..........I grabed a snack and headed home. It did drizzle here and there but that's ok I got to spend some time  on my ride enjoying the road. Have a great day!  "T"
