Title: Aug, 20th ride
Category: Satisfied
Blog Entry: Hey All;Finally getting around to bloging the ride I took Sunday, August 10, 2008 to benefit "The Beverly Animal Shelter" here in Seneca County New York. In-spite of the weather we had 22 bikes most with riders so they were able to raise enough money to take care of the medical expenses for a dog they took in, who was severely abused buy his previous owner. It was a great ride. A couple of spots looked like they had just gotten some rain, but it had stopped buy the time we got there. We headed down the west side of Cayuga lake, hit some twisties in the southern tier, and came back up the east side of Seneca lake. We avoided Watkins Glen due to race weekend. Took a scenic route witch was high overlooking the lower part of Seneca Lake. Then we ended the ride at a little place called "Big Johnson’s" In Valois N.Y. for refreshments and chicken bar-b-que. The scenery was awesome. Rode with some people I knew, and made some new friends. It was a great time and I am looking froward to doing it again next year. Here are a couple of video clips I put together from the ride.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZR_5KI85BEhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hW4s7CX-HI
