Hey :)
I'm a new rider. I've never had a bike. Tho I was a passenger for several years
and fell in love with riding, runs, the people, and the fun. That relationship ended
and so did my fun. After just about a year I went ahead and got my own ride and
am looking forward to feeling the wind and sun on my face again, meeting new
friends/riding partners at some of the local/state rides.
I learned to ride on a '04 HD 1200C 4 years ago. I was never very comfortable on it.
Just too tall, and top heavy (I’m only 5’). Kinda scared me I guess.
Now it's a whole new experience. When I bought my bike I was thinking it was my
stepping-stone to a bigger bike, but now I don't know. I like it that much. After
I'm more experienced I well may change my mind. We'll see. I’m not thrilled with
the color, so I'm definitely gonna get a paint job as soon as I can. Got my color
picked out, it's HOK Shimrin Fine Stratto Blue. The color reminds me of a beautiful,
azure blue sky.
I live in the woods in a small (for real, one stop-light), rural town. There are plenty
of back roads to practice on without having to worry about traffic. Don’t know how
long I’ll be here tho. I'll be here for sure until the housing picks back up.
I LOVE music. If there's a way for it to be heard where I am, it's playin'. Southern
Fried Rock, Classic Rock, Good Ol' Boys Drinkin' Songs, Alternative, Country - old & new,
Bootie Music, whatever. Just NO rap.
My hobbies are ridin', my plants, my critters, sittin' on the front porch watching nature,
sittin' around the fire and listening to everyone telling lies :), or the same stories over and over. LOL
I'm definitely an outdoors person. I also love to shoot pool...not very good, but I do have
my moments. Love going to HardRock Casino and losing all my money. Been to Vegas, would
like to do Reno, and Biloxi some day.
It would be really nice to meet a good man. Someone who's down to earth, loves to laugh, and can
take the time to stop and smell the roses, or coffee, whichever he prefers. Definitely someone
who doesn’t stress easily. It’s not healthy, and really no reason for it.
I’m the most laid back person I know, and don't do drama or high-stress situations. I’m not
high maintenance. Enjoying life is more important to me than enjoying lots of expensive toys.
I steer far away from players. They’re pretty easy to spot. Anyhow, I just go with the flow.
Life is so much better that way. I love to laugh, and personally think it’s better for what ails
you than chicken soup! :)
I’ve met some really great, caring, funny, and interesting men and women on BW. Too bad some
of the guys are so far away. I’d go anywhere for real love, but definitely not for a relationship that
is based on “internet or phone dating”. That’s just not real (JMHO).
Well, maybe on of these days at a meet-n-greet, it'll happen for me. Until then, I'll just keep on keepin' on.
