Keeping things in perspective

I have been trying to figure out how to put things into perspective of my life and the lives of others since the middle of last week. I was chatting with a friend last week. We had a great conversation and such when I told her I would talk to her later. I was teaching last weekend in a town about an hour away, so communacation was not a real option for most of the weekend. I did manage to leave her a few voicemails and a text message, but didn't get a reply. I figured I had done something to upset her, so I thought I'd let things go for the rest of the weekend. I finally got to talk to her on Monday evening. She proceeded to explain the challenges she had over the weekend. Without going into detail, I would like every one who reads this to just stop and have a thought for her and her family. (nobody panic) This person is and has been one of my closest friends since we met here on BW's. I am proud to know her and know that if I ask her for a thought or help, she would be there. Friends like her are hard to find, after sharing w/ me her challenges earlier today, all I can say is that because of our conversations and messages to each other, I am reminded of the following phraise I read in customers home a few weeks ago. "This is GOD, I will be handling all of your problems today. I do not need any help from you. Therefore just give me all of your problems and you enjoy the day." To the person I am referring to, when you read this, understand that I thought of this after we talked today. Otherwise I would have said it to you this morning. Let's all keep our lives and problems in perspective. I do ask one thing of everyone, for those of you who might have figured out who I am speaking of, please do not contact her as she will tell every one in her own way and time. Thanks to all of my friends. Ride Free, Ride Safe, Ride Often. Have a great 4th of July weekend!!!!!!!! Respect, hdsd05

Good Luck!  And that's right GOD does'nt need any help.  But I just can't understand why He needs Money every Sunday.  (just kidding).
