Yesterday I rode with a couple guy friends, and had a great time. Saturday was in the mid 90s in some areas of western Washington, but near me it was high 80s; I'm glad I didn't ride that day... I tend to think of hot air blowing in my face, and I'm not a hot weather person. Sunday was more around 80, and felt good when you'd hit some cool thermals. I was going to ride in a poker run, but I got the times screwed up so we didn't. Instead, Last_Call and I picked up another friend and his son and headed toward Rainier. Went to Mineral Lake, and to Morton, turned around and stopped at Scale Burger and ate lunch. I'd never had one, and it was really good, so if you have a chance to, grab a burger in Elbe. When I got home, I hopped in the shower and dayum! I looked down and my arms were stinging when the water hit them. Me, who always says "I don't burn, I tan" had both insides of my arms red, as well as my face. Last_Call was so red around his arms, I shudder to think how he felt. But lesson learned... even if it was the hard way. My native and Hawaiian background always tan me but I guess Daddy's half exposed itself. 5 hours later and my bike rolled over 6,000 miles. This time last year when I got it, it was 2236, and looking forward to a summer of riding since I'm off work
