Don't know how many of you attend Toy Runs in your area but I think they are one of the biggest ways the biker community helps their neighbors.  We just went on the first of this season, the Polk County TN Toy Run.  It was started about 10 years ago by some teachers and church members in Polk County who saw a need.  This county is the poorest in the SE TN area and these women decided that the kids deserved a good holiday.  The run is sponsored by a Christian motorcycle group in Cleveland TN and they do an excellent job.  You can't beat the smiles and tears of the faces as over 100 bikes bring in the toys and money.  The church that houses the toys until Christmas provides food and fellowship for the bikers to show their appreciation.  How much better can it get?    Do you have a favorite toy run?

Northwest Georgia has a really big toy run coming up:  the Catoosa County Toy Run.  I believe it's the first weekend of December.  This one is huge with hundreds of bikes.  As for me - I like the family feeling of the smaller runs.  You really get to see where the gifts are going.  Know the big runs are great but I'm like you guys - just love giving to the kids.

I live in Wichita, KS and last Sunday was the Sedgwick County Toy Run, that's the County Wichita is in for those who wonder. Anyway, this year was the 28th annual. We had a great day for the ride, almost 70 degrees and over 3000 bikes showed up. It was great to see the entire route lined with people this year. Just my 2 cents.
