Current bike

First and only bike, 2001 Dyna Wide Glide. Shopped around with several different makes and found that the Wide Glide had a relatively high center of gravity, but was well balanced and was an ideal palette to begin a vision. This bike began stock. With a Twin Cam 88 carburated engine, the forward foot controls captured my eye the moment I looked as a basis of building from a mental image of a truly personal beast.

Past bikes

Past bikes?!? Too many other obligations existed to have owned one earlier. My brother had several, both street and dirt. every so often he would "let" me take a ride. Other than that, I just borrowed one from time to time prior to purchasing my own, sorta sad just walking away till I purchased my own. Now when I walk away, I know this baby's mine and I can ride her anytime I want to.

Modifications
|
Have completed numberous buildups involving jeeps. Nothing extreme in order to keep them road worthy. But, a perfectionist none the less in obtaining the look and manners I look for in fun machines. Taking on a street bike will not be very much different to capture the vision I have in my head.
For the three years I've had my own bike, already finding out she's a "Work in Progress" as I doubt she will ever be finished. Too many goodies out there to add for looks or performance enhancements (sounds like a viagra ad). The limit has always been how many hours of overtime am I willing to work...
At the moment, modifications are primarily cosmetic. One of the first add-ons included a smoked windshield, auxillary lighting with turn signal relocation kit and engine guards. For the bobbed rear fender, a short luggage rack and low sissy bar spiced up the rear. For funnsies, a solid tube lowering shock kit brought her down alittle lower to the ground.
For travel, Saddleman leather saddle bags mounted on ghost brackets fill the bill (tho they cover the solid chrome shocks...my bad!).
To add alittle bitch to her, mini apes with chrome swept back risers bring her into reach for me. Dressing 'em out are chromed clutch bracket, master cylinder and switch housings. Beefing the front just somewhat, I mounted a Kuryakyn chrome fork brace...nice!
Just within the past few weeks, a set of spider lights were added to highlight some of the chrome pieces on the engine. Really sweet at night, think I will expand the original set from six to eight or ten lights to cover chrome over the front and rear wheels.
In the near future, plans to add Vance & Hines exhaust along with Screamin' Eagle performance pieces, change out the wheels for a custom look and a custom paint job to capture a more personal firefighter edition look are in the works (ugghhhh more overtime)...and a tattoo (oops thats to go on me)
Some of the items that will be added in my project include:

Music
|
Actually I'm a Nine Inch fan, love to hear soundtrack clips added to movies and even to CSI Las Vegas series...so I'm not alone on that one! Other artists that rev it up include Paul Oakenfold, Fiona Apple, Nora Jones, Alan Jackson (good sippin' music), Johnnie Lang and Lightning Hopkins (for the blues in me). But hey, not locked into a particular genre, just depends on the mood, what I'm drinking and and my inner child.
P.S. If I ain't on the bike, I'm in my hot rod Lincoln !

Hobbies
|
Life is out there...reach for it cause it ain't gonna find you without the effort. Try something at least once to know whether or not you do like it. Besides riding, a few of those hobbies or interests that are tried and true to pursue are:
* Bass fishing (Southern Police & Fire Games)
* Skeet shooting (Novice since my crazy ass cousin keeps backing out)
* Golf (It sucks, you REALLY don't want me for a partner)
* Photography (B & W nudes are a favorite)
* Tournament Pool (brings a smile to my face to have you guys rack my balls)
* League Bowling (Earl's Virgins...yeah right)
* Music (oh look, a free download)
* Line Dancing (I suck at it too...oh well, life goes on. Can't we just dance dirty?)
* Four Wheeling Offroad (yeah I built for it to go offroad, so let's hop in and jump a stump or two)
* Superbike Racing (just can't get the harley to lean like that)
* Hiking & Camping(need to quit smoking...huff huff)
* Rope Rappelling (always double check the equipment)
* Travel (need another job to pay for it, LOL)
* Gambling (just one of my many vices, so ok...ask)
