Sorry i havent had time to write much lately.....i know there are friends out there that keep up with me thru my logs.  There was the move, and then the party prep, and i hit overtime this morning at 9.

The Par-tay was a success ..... It was a wonderful time with wonderful friends. New friends were made, and those that couldnt make it were missed .  There is always room here whenever you can.  And there will be many more gatherings in the future.

Thru the years i have learned that it is indeed  the quality of the people you spend time with, not the quantity that truly enriches your life.   And so it was with the party and the ride on Sunday.    Hippie already described our route ....Traphill Rd to Stone Mtn Park, where we stopped at Widow Creek Falls, then off up Longbottom Rd, to 18 and Station's Inn. Then across the parkway and down 21 to Elkin and Ghost Riders Saloon for a couple brews and more conversation before the final goodbyes. 

I took it easy on the speed, so everyone could enjoy the scenery and wanting to make the ride last as long as possible. 

I cant wait to get out and explore some more of the back roads, but for now both Stella and SCARlett are grounded.... the former with an exhaust leak, and the latter with brake light problems. Hopefully both will be repaired by the end of the weekend.
