2002 Heritage Classic

WoW! OK..Here I go...1970 Honda 70, 73 Yamaha 125MX, 75 YZ125, 76 YZ125, 78 YZ125, 78 Suzuki RM370, 75 Honda 550four, 82 RM250, 85 RM250, 86 Honda XR600R, 87 Yamaha TT125(pitbike), 1978 Maico 400(sweet vintage ride with a Wheelsmith motor!), 1988 Kawasaki KX500, 1998 Yamaha YZ250, 2002 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic.

I dont have many mods. My motor is stock, I have BUB Short Shots and a bunch of chrome goodies. I have no desire to ride an unreliable hot rod or an uncomfortable custom. I want to ride and be comfortable when I do it and I want to go a long way. I'm built for comfort, baby, I ain't built for speed! If I want to race again I'll go buy another dirt bike.

I am 47 Yrs old, recently separated and have four daughters aged 35, 24, 13 and 11(as of this writing). My two little ones live with me and at the moment my 24 yr old lives with me along with my grandson. She finally married her man but has to wait till his re-deployment(after three purple hearts in Iraq...the dude is a f*^#ing STUD!)to see where they will be going. My 35 yr old is actually a step daughter I couldn't love any more were she my very own. Her son, Ryan Mathews, just got a full ride to Fresno State after leading the nation in rushing as a Senior at West High in Bakersfield in 2006. Look for him on Saturdays soon! I work for UP Railroad in the signal dept and been there since 1979. I haven't been on a big road trip sine 2004(although I go to Reno every year..it's not THAT far)when I went to the Yellowstone area. I think it's time to do something about that. I play guitar, am an avid amatuer astronomer and a published poet. I raced motocross off and on from 1975 till 2000 and always had a dirtbike. I decided to back off in 2000 after my second broken femur(and a multitude of other injuries)and got rid of the 98 YZ250(It was a Bill's Pipes/RG3 rocketship!)and ordered the Heritage on Sept 16th 2001. It was not my first street bike, but it my first RIDE! Anything else..feel free to ask yourself. I don't have a lot of time to spend on the puter right now but will always make the effort to respond to new friends(as well as old ones!)

I LOVE Patton. The ultimate character study and war hero flik! I have seen it more times tha any other movie. Others I have willingly seen many times..Full Metal Jacket, Quigley Down Under, Outlaw Josie Wales, The Right Stuff, My Cousin Vinny, The Song Remains The Same, Open Range, Apocolypse Now, My Favorite Year, The Apostle, Sling Blade, ad infinitum

I am a life long Led Zeppelin freak and my favorite style of music is Classic Rock, but other than Rap and Hip-Hop, I generally like just about anything

Writing poetry and the ocassional short story, blogging, astronomy, Motocross, guitar, art, History(especially WWII and Railroad).
