Temp 30's, sunny, and first dry streets. Maybe I can twist the wick on this new 103 and answer those constant questions. Was it worth the price? Did it make that big a difference? How does it compare to the regular big bores? Mind you---she isn't broke in, and I had a passenger. ANSWER.......Holy Shit! I've got a little '03 WideGlide with a 103 stroker, cams, carb, tuner, you know! At a steady 40mph I cracked the throttle and literally roasted, not scratched, but roasted the back tire.........dont know what would have happened if she hooked up. After about 80 miles riding, and a couple of glasses of liquid courage, I play with a couple big bore softails......that was like playing checkers with a 2 year old. I'm not only impressed, but amazed! That thing is absolutely insane. Here's where I must confess to all my BW friends. The big, bad Rockstar is quite honestly scared shitless to open her up. I did all that today and never hit it harder the 1/2 to 3/4 throttle.

Well, knocked down about 27 more miles today! Only 13 degrees out, but a nice ride, and that brisk air is guaranteed to relieve the hangover. Started snowing again, so had to end the ride early, but still a good ride! Oh yeah, and when that cold air takes the hangover away, you start remembering all the stupid shit ya did last night, including getting pulled over on iced over roads! Nice cop though, just wanted to tell me to be careful on the ice! Didnt say a word about me being drunk as hell.                                             

P.S. Riding drunk on icy roads----------not wise!

Got in about 25 miles today. It was graet! Ended up getting drunk and just getting home on black ice. The bike is covered with slush and absolutely filthy, but a ride is a ride. 34 degrees was feeling something like summertime. I'm sure I will feel like ass in the a.m., but that ride felt so good! Can't we all just wait till summer! Much respect to you all, friends are forever! Take care!

Gotta work tomorrow, so took a nice birthday ride today. Beautiful blue sky, and low 30's temp, was a nice ride through town and even down the highway about twenty some miles. A little chilly, but all in all, a great ride..............until about halfway home. New pics posted showing our ride home. What a trip, but still a great ride!!! Have a wonderful week!
