Well just did it! What I had been so excited about! I took my bike out in traffic for the first time! Rodney followed in his truck. At first, turns out when I thought I was speeding and intentionally lowered my speed, after my review on how I did by the "Hemroid" (Rodney), I found out I was going too slow. Whoops. The little guage is the RPM. Stupid! See my speedometer and Tachometer are both on one guage. Little hard to read at first til you know where to look. I was fuming when I found this out. So...needless to say...the second time around...it finally felt right! I had wind on my face!!! yippee! 50mph...are you proud of me? I was impressed with my own ability to turn tight corners at intersections, and upshift properly, though I need some more practice at judging where to begin breaking and downshifting while approaching intersections at which I'm going to turn. Fortunately, where I'm misjudging is that I'm slowing too early. But, I ask you this. When your significant other actually thinks you did a good job, why do they insist on being your worst critic next to your own self? First of all...I'm pms'ing today, he knows it, I'm still finding the glory in this day, and TRYING to find the glory in this week as I wait to retake my MSF test...and he STILL must push my buttons! I honestly swear I do not know where men get their brains...I think they should be recalled!
