Well Sunday I got together with some great riding friends (had not been riding with them in a while due to my work schedule) and we met for breakfast before riding.  Actually Donna brought along a book that marked good rides in the SE area.  We were talking about who should lead the ride and I jumped in and said "We don't need that book.  I'll lead the ride.  I have no clue where were going, but will have fun".  Low and behold, my favorite type of ride.  A ride to Nowhere special.  These are rides where you just go until you see a road that looks interesting and decide to take it.  Then another, and another.  At the end of the day you try and figure out where the heck you are and how to make it home.  To make a long story short, we were all having such a great time riding and exploring new roads that we lost total track of time.  We started out in GA, ended up somewhere in SC, than came back through the mountains and the scenic town of Helen GA and onward to home.

No location, no time line, just an objective to ride and ride and ride.  What a great day it was.
