Well today I took a very nice ride with a bunch great group of friends.  Some of the usual friends showed up, some old friends I have not seen in a while, and I met a couple of new riders that I hope to ride with again in the future.

We started out riding route 129 out through Cleveland and then headed into North Caroline.  From there we headed east and ended up in Tennessee.  From there we road home by way of routes, 52 and 53.  In all we road 247 miles today, or at least that was what I road from door to door. 

Also had a great surprise for this ride.  My daughter Kendra decided to come out with us.  It's been a long time since she has taken a long ride with me.  She had a great time and kept talking about the sights.  The open fields, the hills, the trees, the houses in the mountain.  What better way to put a big smile on my face than to spend a wonderful day with my daughter and some great riding friends.
