beautiful day for ridin,crossed the river into Kentuckey on a ferry boat,178 miles. didn't think I had it in me after bein sick last week. the doctor couldn't have prescribed anything better! Good ridin out there, hope to meet a lot of you this year...be safe!

swap meet

rainy & cold, went to the swapmeet in the F150 cage...the outdoor venders didn't stay long dammit! I was tempted to call the guy with the Triumph chopper that wanted to trade 4 a shovelhead...but I want to build my shovel! it should run real fine this year,but now I have something to ride so I can spend more time getting it right! birthday/dayton-uh ride

for Cary's birthday and Daytona bike week we took a ride to Dayton, Ohio to the watering hole to see if friends were there. still 59 degrees may do some more, 40miles ain't enough-the snow in the forrest we rode through was breathtaking, I wouldn't want to miss these days of riding...just remember the cages ain't used 2 ya this time of year around here! there were a few bikes out today and some you could tell they were workin on. i should be working on my shovel but the King is spoilin me and Cary is also!

went to the show, glad we didn't ride cause it was hot inside & cold out...woulda left with a sweaty body! that wouldn't be good at this temperature. lookin forward to warmer temps.

a little 29 miler

stuck at work on a sunny day, on my way home i couldn't wait to get home and get the scoot out...so i call sweetie up & ask if she wants to go well yes! so off we go 41 degrees, cruisin 60= cold, pretty well prepared 4 it but still cold, matterofact she's layin down now-better go check. my hands were getting numb, my joints still acheing, i still am very fullfilled fore the air was stimulating, the engine smooth, tranny 6 clicker and monster torque! if that don't put lead in your pencil and adrenilin in your eyes, what will? i may not ride tons of miles but it is necessary 4 me 2 have a bike at my disposal 4 the times i will ride. i got a taste early in life and had 2 have a bike but wasn't allowed at home so i ended up leaving quickly, raceing motox. local drag racin, a lot of campin, Laconia, Daytona, Sturgis, tons of local events, and i hafta admit my Harleys are the best bikes i've owned! nuff that...ya'll b safe out there! respect, shs

47miles tonight after a rough day at work, it was cold but great to be in the fridged air-37 degrees when we got home...wondered why it felt like someone hit my knees with a sledge hammer! 1697mi on the roadking. no complaints from cary! live to ride!
