I am a new rider -- got my license in July 2006, bought my Boulevard S40 two weeks later, and it is a GREAT bike to learn on! Plenty of power, but small and light enough for a new rider to keep under control.

I am already dreaming of my next bike. Today, I think I like the Kaw Vulcan 900, Honda VTX 1300, and the Yamaha VStar 1100. I am open to suggestions and comments on this subject!
