Hubby just went through a 5 heart bi-pass surgery and was in a funk.. So, I went out and bought him a Harley. What can I say, he just bought me a house and a car, thinking that he wouldn't make it and wanted me to be "secure". BUT, he did make it. Our new "girl" is a 1998 FLSTS Heritage Springer, with the big saddle bags and chrome and more chrome. It is too cold to go out yet.. with the ice on the road and He is still recovering from the surgery. "smiles". But just knowing she is in the garage puts a smile on both of our faces. I know we are going to make some new friends and go for rides again.

BC (before children) we had a bike shop in Fair Oaks, Calif. and had quite a few different bikes. Our favorite ones was the Pan Head and the 108" stroker. The Pan for just riding, the stroker for showing off.

Hubby, (Steve) and I have been married for 35 exciting years. We first took off on his Harley in 73 and have been going ever since. Have been to Canada to Mexico, Florida to Washington, seen most all the states except for Alaska and Hawaii. After traveling on land for the first 5 years we bought a shop in the Sacramento area and rebuilt Harleys for a bit. We needed a changed so a 65ft Gaffed rigged schooner came into our lives and we sailed for 8 years. Got pregnant so discided to settle down for a bit and bought some property up in Idaho. Built ourselves a log cabin. BUTTTT, it got to cold for us in the winter so traveled to Mexico and the children's first language was spanish, but just for a bit :). Moved back up to the US and traveled around in a motorhome and homeschooled. The twin girls are now on their own, (yeah right)and the boys wanted to go to a "NORMAL" school so we settled down here in this little town of Clinton. For one thing we have found out in all our traveling is the towns are the same and most of the people are too. What you want to look for a half way decent weather and somewhere you can afford to live. We are looking for some nice people to ride with and just settle down to a slower pace. We're not getting any younger ;)

Love anything John Wayne, hubby likes the action ones, to many to name. We just got the whole series of "Than Came Bronson" off of E-bay and been watching them, smiles, Oh, and just got finished watching "Worlds Fastest Indian" with Anthony Hopkins.. it was great.

Country Western. smiles.. hubby likes the "Doors" and stuff like that.
